Walter G. Treiber
CEO and Chairman of the Board

Walter has established his primary corporate responsibility as living the CWM Mission, Values and Vision statement.

His background in aluminum, magnesium and zinc die casting design and production began before he joined the company full-time in 1959. He has served as President of the International Magnesium Asociation for multiple terms and is a member of the IMA's Executive Committee. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Magnesium Technology, a member of the Board of Directors of the North American Die Casting Association, and Co-chairman of NADCA's National Affairs Committee. He holds a NADCA Distinguished Life Membership Award.

As one of the founding members of the Diecasting Development Council, Walter served as its first Finance Chairman. He is a past President of the American Die Casting Institute and Chairman of the Die Casting Research Foundation. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Eric Treiber
President and COO


Eric was named CWM President and COO in February, 2005, becoming the third generation to head the company, founded by his German immigrant grandfather in 1937.

He retains direct responsibility for management of CWM's Contract Manufacturing division, coordinating with the CWM sales-marketing, engineering, purchasing and assembly departments, and performing key client contact on major CM programs.

Among his client service responsibilities, Eric is charged with empowering Chicago White Metal's customer service team, and facilitating work with all CWM departments to enhance the level of service provided to customers. He is responsible for negotiating supply contracts with key clients and providing support to CWM client representatives in quickly resolving questions in areas of policy, procedures, pricing and delivery.

His background embraces in-depth training in all of the disciplines within CWM, joining the company in 1990. A graduate of the University of Illinois, he holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Graduate Management of Northwestern University. He is a member of the Government Affairs Committee of the North American Die Casting Association and has served as a member of the Board of Governors of NADCA.

Anthony (Tony) R. LoCoco
Executive Vice President, CFO


Tony is responsible for financial management at CWM and the generation and reporting of all financial and management information data. He directed the installation of new client/server computer technology at the company and supervises the use of new business control and production quality monitoring software.

A CPA, he holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and serves as Treasurer of the International Magnesium Association and as a member of the Finance Committee of the North American Die Casting Association.

Joining CWM in 1978, Tony is a ranking chess expert.

Brian Andrews
Vice President, CNC Production

Brian Andrews, in charge of all production operations at CWM’s CNC Machining Technologies Division, is a veteran of this advanced machining facility. He joined CNC Technogies in 1991.

His precision machining background includes three years at Douglas Aircraft, where he did engineering and programming for the DC10/MD11, MD80 & the C17 cargo plane in Torrence, CA. He is a member of the Tooling and Manufacturing Association and has a B.S. degree in Numerical Control Technology from Northern Illinois University.

Brian resides in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg with his wife, Anne, who is the Accounting Manager of Chicago White Metal Casting.

William Baraglia
Vice President, Manufacturing

Bill Baraglia's fierce commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has been evident ever since he joined CWM in 1969. As Vice President of Manufacturing, Bill oversees activities in the company's manufacturing and support units, including tooling, quality assurance, post-casting machining and purchasing.

He led a dedicated team in the company-wide efforts which achieved ISO 9002:1994 registration for CWM's quality management system. In 1997 Bill again was the team leader in the company's coordinated program to bring about ISO 14001 registration of its environmental management system, a die casting organization first. And when the ISO 9001:2000 certified quality standard was introduced, he was the driving force in CWM's becoming the first custom die caster to achieve this more stringent registration.

An accomplished pianist, with a degree from the American Music Conservatory, Bill enjoys the Chicago musical scene, especially avant garde music and jazz.

Michael Dimitroff
Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Michael supervises all marketing and sales activities, managing the CWM force of sales-engineers which serve OEMs from major cities throughout the U.S., as well as Canada and Mexico. Joining CWM in 1988, he has presided over an era of strong growth in CWM sales.

A graduate of Iowa State, Michael holds an MBA from the University of Illinois. He has a history of addiction to a wide range of athletic activities, with the x-rays to certify his passions for downhill skiing, motorcycling and horseback riding, to name just a few. He is a member of Marketing Committee of the North American Die Casting Association and has been active in developing information programs for the original equipment market.

He, and his architect wife Carol, completed a major expansion to their rural homesite to accommodate their growing family, which includes two sons, two quarter horses, two ponies, a Bernese mountain dog, and several cats.
